Workflow Configuration
The Workflow Configuration page allows Admins and Super Admins to create and update workflows. Only Super Admins can make changes to a workflow template once it has been marked Active to prevent changes while workflows are actively running. Note: Contact Pereview support or your Client Success Manager if you are interested in setting up Workflows.
Navigate to the Notification Configuration page via the top nav bar under Site > Admin > Configuration > Workflows.
To view and edit existing workflows, click on a workflow name within the grid, which will take you into the workflow details screen.
From the Workflows Detail screen, you can configure all the required sections.
- Statuses Grid: Allows you to add each status, specify display text for the buttons, choose a category (Open, Closed, Cancelled, etc.), assign Roles (assigned on the investment), Permission Groups, change the sort order, and set due date reminders for certain statuses. You can also add specific instructions at each step.
- Workflow Steps: Define the sequence of the workflow. The system will automatically create a hidden row for the first status (null current status and first sort order as the next status). You can choose whether a comment is required to enter the next status.
- Custom Fields: Allows you to configure the details form.
- Required/Read Only Custom Field by Status: This grid allows you to set which fields are required or read-only at each status.
- Actions: Tells the system what reports to run at status changes during the workflow.
- Workflow Reminders: The Workflow Reminders grid is related to the reminders in the Workflow Statuses Grid. In this grid, users can establish when they would like to be notified that the workflow assigned to them is late or due soon.
Once complete, navigate back to the main Workflow Configuration screen and mark it as active for it to be available for triggers and manual starting.
